Tina Clancy here, and I have yet to work my way up to that sword-wielding goddess in the corner. I may no longer be a four-eyed cripple or a bookkeeper, but graduating to starving law clerk with good eyesight is only a notch better. Yeah, I finally have my law license---hallelujah!--- but the job market in Baltimore's environmental disaster Zone isn't what it ought to be.

Regrettably, my invisible granny's claim that I was born under some weird conjunction of Saturn with a few stray asteroids is starting to look more probable. The word is that the closer I get to my twenty-seventh birthday, the stronger my thirst for justice becomes. I turn twenty-six this year and so far, my intolerance for bullies has racked up a weird reputation for---literally--- blowing things out of proportion. Conjuring tornadoes and sending my boyfriend to hell and bringing him back as a United States senator blows my mind anyway. Now, if only I could visualize a real man in my bed instead of the lying scum I have to deal with, this Saturn gig might be worth something.

Instead, I have a mob clamoring at my door, demanding justice.

The Zone's boss, sexy Andre Legrande, has this truly jackass idea that I can defend him for murdering the senator's grandmother. The witch deserved to die, and I owe Andre, but let's get real! I'm an overworked, unappreciated clerk.

Worse, my friends in the Zone expect me to bring down the chemical plant after their mad scientists gassed us and rendered half the neighborhood comatose. The other half is waiting for me to send Andre to hell. But I've finally found a home in the Zone, so me and my cranky manx cat, invisible adopted brother, and snake-conjuring BFF have to save the town.

Unfortunately, my no-longer-boyfriend is none too pleased with my sending his granny to Hell. And neither is granny...

Read Excerpt from DAMN HIM TO HELL

“Unlike many down-on-their-luck heroes who never seem to suffer, Quaid’s characters are genuinely desperate, lending a real sense of danger and urgency. Without a vampire, werewolf, or fallen angel to be seen, this strong debut is a pleasantly fresh take [on the genre].”
Publishers Weekly

“Quaid jumps into the urban fantasy genre with a bang. . . . She quickly establishes a unique cast of characters, full of flaws and mystery. There is plenty of humor, wild action, and vigilante justice in this truly excellent beginning of the Saturn’s Daughter series.”
RT Book Reviews

“Fast paced and action packed entertainment . . . A fun read . . . wonderfully crafted.”
Seeing Night Book Reviews

“Engaging and energetic . . . Sexy, fun, and dangerous are perfect words to describe this book.”
Books, Bones & Buffy

“Action-packed from beginning to end, sparkled with a great dose of humor.”
Tynga’s Reviews

“A quirky romp of a ride . . . A cute twist on the paranormal genre.”
